About us

Dreamtech5 is a company that specializes in in creating, designing and developing customized visual solutions based on immersive, interactive technologies. The company is focused on different sectors, mostly in the technical field, offering high added value solutions. We boast extensive experience in 3D video, AR or VR creation, among others.

Dreamtech5 works with the latest 3D technologies to provide our customers with high quality technical videos. We provide highly interactive VR and AR for companies, offering extra information on real scenarios or working environments.

To craft our projects we use different software applications to develop the scenarios such as Unity and Unreal, and hardware such as HTC VIVE and Oculus Quest glasses, that are responsible for the user’s immersion in the virtual environment.

FAQs

The main use of 3D Animation is to make digital sketches of products that we then bring to reality. These are also known as 3D Prototypes. For instance, most of the products on the market are based on a previous model created with 3D Animation in order to see what the product will look like. Once the shape and even the colour are decided, the product is released for actual production. Since that 3D model of the product has already been intended for this initial research, many companies take advantage of these same 3D models to use them in their advertising campaigns with their videos.

These can include the inner operations of a machine, or the action of a medicine inside our body These are the most common applications of 3D Animation. Recreating these processes realistically or even in an outline makes it easier for professionals to explain how they work to the target audience. This way, the audience pays more attention and the presentation is more credible since the presenters can virtually demonstrate how the machine or medicine does what it is supposed to do, and also where it is supposed to do it.

The development of a technical 3D video starts with the creation of the 3D models to be shown. This creation process can be done from scratch based on technical drawings or using any other information that can be useful for this process. Due to our engineering environment, in most cases, companies send us their own 3D models. These models are usually produced in Catia or Solidworks formats so we are able to include them in our work process which makes our development times shorter.

A 3D video just shows an animation of a piece/process/scene in a linear fashion. An interactive video is based on the same 3D technology but it also involves programming where these 3D pieces are included. This programming generates an interactive setting that allows the user to display the contents not in a linear sequence, but according to their own choice.

Virtual Reality is the technology which, by means of VR glasses, introduces the user into a 3D environment where they have an immersive 360º view in addition to the ability to interact with the environment and its elements.

This technology is usually applied for trade fair demonstrations, employee training experiences or work process demonstrations.

We are a VR company that focuses on the application of these technologies in industrial environments and trade fairs.

Augmented Reality technology shows our world but with an added virtual layer. For this purpose, mobile devices with cameras or glasses are used since they can show reality through a virtual layer where all the project information is displayed.

This technology is usually applied for demonstrations at trade fairs, employee training experiences and work process demonstrations, as well as in the workplace where real-time data is needed. We mainly apply these technologies in industrial environments and trade fairs.

Technical 3D videos.

  • A video of 2-3 minutes usually takes an average of 1-2 weeks to develop, depending on the complexity of the information to be shown.

3D Interactive Resource.

  • For a 3D interactive resource that includes around 5 interactions, it usually takes an average of 2-3 weeks to develop it, always according to the complexity of the interactions and the content to be shown.

Virtual Reality.

  • For a VR project that includes around 5 interactions, it usually takes an average of 4-5 weeks to develop it, always according to the complexity of the interactions and the content to be shown.
  • Depending on the complexity of the interactions and how the user can participate in them, the development time may vary.

Augmented Reality.

  • It typically takes an average of 4-5 weeks to develop an AR project, always according to the complexity of the models and the data to be shown.
